  Working with the Community

Good partnership working is essential in improving and expanding the services that we can offer to vulnerable people in Salisbury.

The agency makes referrals to a wide variety of agencies so that we can meet all our customers needs. These include:

Wiltshire Police Bobby project fits security devices to all windows and external doors for both actual and potential victims of crime.

Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, which can do a full fire safety check and fit smoke alarms.

Age Concern who runs a handyperson service.

Citizens Advice Bureau who can do benefit checks.

Community Transport who provide affordable and accessible transport.

It is safe to say that we will build partnerships where we can and work together with any organisation for the mutual benefit of our customers providing them with excellent customer service.

If you believe that we can work with your organisation to assist the wider community then please contact the office to discuss this.

We have a customer User Group that meets regularly to review our service and suggest developments and improvements.

At the groups first meeting it identified the need for clearer signage to the office and more effective promotion of our services.   As a result, we have installed new signs around the office and designed a leaflet to promote our private service.
