How does the service work?

We will arrange to visit you in your home to discuss your needs and help you to find the right solution.

• If you decide to use our services, we will help you to decide on the work to be done and arrange for drawings and schedules of work.

• We will help you identify ways in which the work can be financed.

• We will obtain quotes from contractors on our preferred list and inspect work on site.

• We will help you with any disruption that may be caused during work and any unexpected faults that may appear once work is completed.

• If Anchor Staying Put is not the answer for you we will try our best to put you in touch with a more appropriate service.

• Savings/Loans

Some customers opt to pay for work from their savings. Others may wish to consider a loan.

• Equity Release

Some customers opt to release some of the value in their home to finance repairs and home improvements. By improving your home, you can often increase its value by more than the amount of equity you released. However, you should always contact an independent financial advisor to discuss what

type of equity release would best suit your circumstances.

Social Security benefits

We can advise you on Social Security and disability benefits and

will assist you to find specialist advice, should you need it.

Private Works Service

You or the works you require to your property may not be eligible for grant assistance. We offer a private works service to give customers the option to have a wider range of works completed. If you are funding the works yourself the 10% fee is often negotiable but if you do not have the works completed the following charges will apply;
