Barrow

ASP Barrow provides the following services:

• Minor Works Grants
• Disabled Facilities Grants
• Renovation Grants
• Small Aids and Adaptations - Provides Handrails, ramps etc to aid access to property. This is a rapid response service and aids early discharge from hospital. NB. We cover Barrow Borough Council and South Lakeland District Council.
• Energy Efficiency – Providing a service that has helped to bring homes up to modern levels of thermal efficiency. We are able to refer clients to Warm Front to install various insulation and heating requirements such as central heating and loft insulation.

If you decide to use the Staying Put service you would need to pay a fee for the technical service provided. The fee is usually 10% of the net cost of the work that you have carried out. If you receive a local authority grant it is possible that some or all of the fee may be covered by the grant.

Barrow in Furness

We aim to offer advice or provide a service to a minimum of 1500 customers in the Barrow in Furness area.

We aim to contact all of our customers within 18 working days of the enquiry.

We aim to complete 1000 jobs for our customers in the Barrow in Furness area.

We aim that all internal hand and grab rails referred under the minor adaptation scheme will be fitted within seven days of receipt of the referral.
