Agency Manager’s Message
Welcome to our Website, I hope you will find it useful. At Anchor Staying Put – Craven we have a dedicated team who are fully committed to delivering a higher quality of service to all of our customers and assisting the Council in making Craven a better place to live.
Traditionally older and/or disabled people have been given limited choice in the services available to them. This has been a key consideration in planning our business. We are focused on promoting customer independence, increasing customer choice, and removing existing barriers.
If you have any comments or recommendations on the services delivered or potential services then please let us know, it’s with your help that we can develop the services provided further.

Established over 12 years ago, Anchor Staying Put Craven is a Home Improvement Agency. The agency works in partnership with Craven District Council, North Yorkshire Social Services and Supporting People.
Anchor
Staying Put – Craven is one of 47 agencies managed by Anchor Trust. The
agency employs six members of staff and is one of the smaller agencies.
We are a not-for-profit charitable Home Improvement Agency. As such we aim to continually improve our services to meet the demands of our customers, by continual investment in the services available.
Through
the operation of the Craven office, thousands of residents within the
Craven District have been assisted in having work carried out on their
property, thus enabling them to continue to reside in their own homes.
Our customers demand a trouble free, trustworthy service, which it is our aim to deliver. Can we help you?

Anchor Staying Put – Craven currently receives varying fees which are dependant on the type of works carried out. At present these fees are as follows;
15% Grant aided work. 10% Private work. 10% Home Appreciation Loan. 8% Repair Assistance Scheme.
All fees are charged only when works are carried out .
There is no call out fee or labour charge for the home maintenance service. We will only charge you for the materials used. If you feel you would like to use our services, you may ask, ‘what do I do now?’ It’s very easy, all you have to do is pick up the phone and call us, you can also email or if you prefer drop us a line. Whatever the question or query, we will endeaver to help you, whether that means using our services or pointing you in the right direction.
